Hi All

I have been trying to zip some .jpg images for emailing. Somehow I've failed. I would appreciate anyone explaing me the method to make a zip file or folder. I have downloaded WinZip trial version, and I use Vista.
What should be the size of a folder with 31.4mb of files(images) after zipping ?

Thanks

Select all the images you want to zip, right-click, Send To -> Compressed Folder.

Also note that jpg format is a compressed format. So you won't be saving much space by compressing them, though it would be easier to send a single file over the net.

Thanks. You are right about jpeg files. Thats the reason I don't see any compression taking place after zipping.. Does that mean there is no faster method to transmit jpeg files over the net ?

Regards
