Default How to remove the option of "Microsoft windows xp setup" frm the win selection-boot ?


I got 3 options in the boot options at the selection of windows which appears at the start--?.
1.Earlier version of windows
2.Windows Vista
3-Microsoft windows xp setup
I want to remove the 3rd option..Please help do it..
I tried going to the windows xp setup and exiting but tat dint help--
Any other suggestions?

U'll need to edit the boot.ini file, simple.

Start - Run and type c:/boot.ini and there u can remove ur third option

1. Open msconfig window
2. Goto Boot.Ini tab and click the "Check all boot paths" button
