Question linux and xp on same machine


i have xp sp2 installed on my system. i want to install ubuntu on my system keeping xp also without formatting any of the drive except of the drive on which i want to install ubuntu. please tell me the way...........

make free space for Ubuntu.select manual partitioning while installing Ubuntu. select 7GB "/" (installation directory) and around 500MB+ SWAP partition.thats it!
