Right Off the Assembly Line

I have a laptop and a deskptop. Can I play CS multiplayer by connecting both of them with a ethernet. If so, please explain exactly how to go about it. Is there any other means of doing it, example by modem etc. Thanks. Narayan |

buy a cross over cable and connect both the system,set ip address for both system and in cs console window of one system type the command
"connect ipaddress"
