Default Problem in writing DVD in Dell 1520!

Hi guys!

Recently I brought a Dell Inspiron 1520 notebook. The problem that I am facing is that whenever I try to make a copy of a DVD, may that contain videos or data, it takes a hell lot of time.

When I selected DVD Copy in Nero 7, it took about 90 minutes to make an image and then copy the same to another DVD.

In PowerISO, it took about 55 Minutes just to make an image of a 4 GB DVD.

I am unable to figure out why is this taking such a hell lot of time. Is there some kind of a setting that can help me or is it a hardware problem.

Please help.

Thank you.
