gmail not opening ...????

hi
my gmail is not opening in standard view ? it was working fine few days back but now its not.
i can open it in html version. even i can access my mails through outlook ( which i do ).

any idea why its not working it stops at end of progress bar ...tried IE & FF after cleaning cache & temp files but still no change all other sites work perfectly.

Standard view of Gmail requires ActiveX must be enabled.
to enable activex in ie:
Goto>tools menu>internet options>security tab> internet zone.
Here either select the default level or custom level. if select custom level then scroll down to run "Activex controls and plugging" and select enable.
Now try again to open gmail. it should be open in standard view.

i agree with u bro..and if not solved yet..then i am sure that u r having problem with ur connection....and u can contact ur ISP(internet service provider)
however gmail has slow service and i heard but they also have upgraded ur website and its bit faster for me using their mail service!!
