Default a terrible problem in my system

i hav got windows vista home basic
my theme has changed to modified theme and vista standard theme is not present
when i play any audio file it says no driver installed
my antivirus is also not starting saying "firewall has stopped"
when i enable it nothing happens
in msconfig when i checked in services all services have been stopped
in task manager also no suspicious programs are running(i think so)

can someone tell me what to do?

I think he means Vista.

@poster, did you do anything, like installed some software, after which these problems started?

WTF!!!!

As for the problem, u mentioned that in MSConfig, all services have been stopped. Put a checkmark against all of them and reboot. Try it n let us know if it helps.

OK, then. Run services.msc and see if any services are disabled. Unless u hv or someone/something has meddled with them, they should not have 'Disabled' as their startup type. Set the startup type to 'Automatic' for such services and reboot.

As I said before, click Start->Run, type services.msc and hit enter. Dbl-click any service's name and set the startup type.
