Greasemonkey installation problem

I have downloaded greasemonkey for mozilla.Its a XPI file.How to install it?Plz help.

Download it using firefox. it would install it as an extension automatically.

If you downloaded it using any other browser, just double click it, and it would be installed.

I have downloaded it through safari.Double clicking on it is giving the message to 'open with' a programme.

open with firefox..

open firefox. open tools>add ons. drag the xpi file there from windows explorer. then click install, it will be installed.
