Default [SOLVED] Can you please identify this Virus

Hello Team Digit,

Does anyone recognize this virus/spyware as shown on the screenshot below

I've updated my anti-virus definitions (symantec) with the latest defs.. but it seems that the anti-virus client/defs cannot see it. If anyone of you is familiar with the screenshots i will be very thankful so that i can take necessary measures to identify and remove the virus or spyware.

[Edit: The popup pops when trying to access a folder, and by clicking 'OK' it goes as normal, when clicking the BACK button it popups again, same with trying to access My Computer]

Thanks

Try the usual... NOD32, Spybot, Ad-Aware, HJT

And dump Symantec/Norton. They were a fad ten years ago, and still, they suck.

I think thats a ad-ware
Get NOD32 or Kaspersky and scan your computer. DONT click yes to download that anti-spyware...

Its a rogue / trojan downloader.

Use Rogue Remover to remove it.

Else any good antispy/av should help. Manual removal infections at http://www.xp-vista.com/spyware-remo...l-instructions

Thank you all for your time and reply. After downloading/updating the latest definitions and scanning the system thoroughly again, the anti virus client could remove the virus now. Here is the details given by Symantec.

C:\WINDOWS\apunbeps.dll
Virus name: Downloader.MisleadApp
