Default windows 2000 and windows 98 problem

I have three computers
Two of them are running on Windows 98
One is running on windows 2000 professional.

My problem is that when I browse my network through 98 machines it has faster access to every node, but when I browse my network places in windows 2000 it takes lots of time to show those two nodes of windows 98. and access to those nodes is also slow. I have 8 port switch.

What may be the problem ? Service engineers of AMC company had visited my site thrice but there is no result

Maybe if your Win2k system is in NTFS Win2k has to run the service for migration of NTFS to Fat32.

I ain't sure though.
