Cant Activate Original Norton Antivirus 2008 (error: used serial).. what to do??

some days back one of my friend bought NORTON ANTIVIRUS 2008 ORIGINAL SEALED pack from SP Road Bangalore.. It costed him Rs. 1100 /-...

but when he is trying to activate the product online its saying.. KEY ALREADY USED.. INSERT ANOTHER KEY...

he is in a despair... what to do?

Did anyone of u face the same problem with norton..???

Contact Norton's CC n provide them ur serial and batch no.'s to them...They will definately help u

First immediately take it back to the store you bought it from, they will know what to do, in the rare case they don't (then i assume they too indulge in pirate trades), you can try calling Norton CC.

It must be a pirated one..let me know the correct error message. Also does the product key starts with a V or J??
