Help Host Counter Strike Server!

hello guys............,
just wondering if someone from the software section would help me in hosting my own half-life dedicated server......................
see i use a mtnl connection, i have applied for a static ip but i have run over the internet and everywhere but am unable to find a forum or page which shows or tells me that wether my network connections tab will show my static ip !!!!!!!!!

Just use hamachi private network to host
u wont have to think bout static or dynamic ips

are but now i have already opted for a static ip man

tell me 1 thing please whether my network connections tab will show my static ip or my lan ip and why my hosted server shows my lan ip instead of my static ip!

i think u have set another system as gateway in ur lan. So that CS detects ur ip as the ip of the hosted system which is ur lan ip. So the identity will be using the port address like
198.168.0.2:56884
the last part after ":"
