I cannot open my iTunes!plz help me

hi guys.
i am running windows xp
i installed iTunes 6 which was given by APPLE in the cd which came with my 30gb nano.
i am the owner of the computer i which i have installed the iTunes and after i install the iTunes and when i double click the icon on the desktop , it gives an error message which i have shown in the attached picture.
i do no what to do.
i did not do it in any guest accounts.
also when i install iTunes 4.8 and plug my 2gb nano, it works fine.
so it is clear that there is no problem with my operating system or the iPod or the usb port.
also since i can access 2gb nano i have also the permission to access 30 gb nano.
but when i installed the same cd in my relatives computer it works fine.
can u plz help me out of this problem?

i dont quite get this,
a 30GIG NANO

Download and install the latest version of iTunes (v7.6.2) and see if it fixes the problem.

Also, your error screenshot seems to be unavailable.

iTunes 4.8 is very very old
