HELP!!!!When i double click on any drive, it asks "choose a program to open"

I have an external hard drives and when i double click on one of the partition, it asks "choose a program to open"...how to solve this problem????

one more thing, I try to find the autorun.inf file in tis partition but i couldn't find it. The problem remained.

~hehe, this of virus that you have just removed or your antivirus did it.

Ok, boot ur system in safe mode. Open any folder and click on tools->options->view tab->check 'show hidden files and folder, clear hide system files. . . . .'-> apply -> close the folder & right click on drive that has problem & click on ''browse''. See if there is autorun.inf, if found, delete it. . . .clean ur registry with Ccleaner & restart ur system.

It sud work fine.

3. Whenever I double-click on any drive in My Computer, “Open with” dialog box opens OR I get following error message:

Cannot find copy.exe. Make sure you have typed the name correctly and then try again.

Sol: Enable “Show hidden files” option in “Tools -> Folder Options” and then search for “Autorun.inf” file in all drivers and if you get them in root of any drive (e.g. in C:\, D:\ and so on), delete them.
