The videos downloaded online are in .flv or .mp4 format, which don't play on my Phillips DVD player. I have to convert them to .mpg format, but there are some options such as mpg-1, mpg-2, svcd, ntsc dvd etc. Which is the best format that gives highest video quality? What is the essential differences among them?
