Question How to remove the "Don't Allow Exceptions" option from Windows Firewall Settings

OS - Windows XP SP2

PROBLEM - We all know that there is an option of "Don't allow Exceptions" in the settings of Windows Firewall. I want that no one can check that option, or can I somehow remove that option from that Dialog Box? Please tell me, it is very important for me to know even if I had to do some registry-mods!

Copy following code and paste in Notepad, save the file with name "Vishal.reg" (including quotes). Run the file and the option should be disabled.

Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsFirewall\StandardProfile]
"DoNotAllowExceptions"=dword:00000000

You want to disable "Dont allow exception" or enable it ?
You can either follow the above procedure or try this :

Start > Run > Gpedit.msc {Press Enter}
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Network > Network Connections
> Windows Firewall > Standard Profile
Here you'll get all the settings that you can configure for Windoze Firewall ..

Ultimate, thanks a lot it_waaznt_me, although the method given by Vishal Gupta didn't work.

^^ The method mentioned by batty uses the same registry trick which I posted. So there is no chance that one will work but the other will not.
