Right Off the Assembly Line

with a 160 gb hard disk currently running two partitions ...one obviously a recovery drive...i have vista premium...i wanted to have another partition so that i can install XP..though i love vista...but need xp for playing games...another thing would it impact my system performace...2gb ram and 1.9ghz...AMD turion... Thanks |

U will need XPCD right in ur hand, as well as create recovery DVDs from start - programs- hp recovery.
Okay, lets get to the point. Back up ur data & format the partition using XPCD. . . .create partition as per ur requirement. Next install os one by one in different partition. |

Before you do anything create Recovery DVDs. You must have recovery cd/dvd creator shortcut on desktop/start menu.
For partitioning in Vista: http://techiesrealm.com/blog/2008/04...windows-vista/ You don't need any third part application for this |
