look into device manager, if your LAN card is properly installed. If not, install LAN driver. If you dont have LAN driver follow this:

1) connect to internet through USB.
2) Now in device manager, right click LAN adapter and select update driver, and than select search internet.
3) Vista will automatically find the driver.

ur lan card is listed under device network adapters, as in if u have a realtek lan card then under network adapters it will show realtek something something

go to Control Panel - Hardware & Sound - Sound - then in the window that opens under the playback tab see if it is showing a sound card as working or no, if yes then click on configure and test it

PS: i think the problems you are facing are primarily because of drivers, get your motherboard driver cd and re-install all drivers, if ur cd does not have it, then call ur hardware vendor and tell him that u need the drivers

yes..LAN card is not properly installed. "Ethernet controller" is having ! mark. You need to install it. Download its driver from manufacture's website.

is your LAN card onboard or PCI. If its onboard, than see the manual of motherboard. If its PCI, than it must be printed on the hardware.

I dont see any problem with audio. Better download and installed latest sound driver.
