Wink One Fine Day...

One fine day I started my computer and On welcome screen some logon message box appeared saying 'cant load your profile'....the windows starts normally ....
But the problem is it always starts as a new installed windows...everything on desktop i newly created disappears except icons (available on new install)...

Well this happens again and again when i boot windows...the window become newly installed..thank god all my older installed programme are there in programme file and start menu....But i have to get back my icons again and again on the desktop...any idea

Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you on with a temporary profile. Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log off.

Your profile seems to be corrupt. Try booting into Administrator account and doing a System Restore.
