Default Firefox is corrupt

my firefox suddenly stopped working yesterday, no webpage seems to open.

when i open firefox i get a pop-up titled Alert! saying that network connection could not be established.

i would like to mention that i installed the following extensions, incase it helps..
1. Google browser sync
2. Pic Lense
3. Unplug
4. Reload Every
5. Paste n Go to
6. PDF Download

Now i tried uninstalling and installing it back again but that didnt help, infact when i open firefox after having reinstalled it remembered all my settings, my extensions were installed, my bookmarks where there and even my web history was intact [..altough i did delete the remaining files of mozilla firefox from the program files]

please suggest me a way out of this, i dont want to format my computer again!

Go 2 Start>Programs>MozillaFirefox>MozillaFirefox(SafeM ode)
This gonna run it it safe mode
Case 1:If there is some extension problem then it would now run without any problem
Case 2:If firefox is corrupt it not gonna run
For case 1 enable each one by one to check which has got problem

Either that..

or: Goto C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\ and Delete all the files there.

If you want to Backup your bookmarks, Before Deleting, Open Profiles Folder -> Go Inside <something>.default and copy the bookmarks.html to some other place.
