Default Where is boot.ini file?


Techies,

I want to delete some entries from boot.ini file , but i could not find out boot.ini file in vista. can you please tell me where is that file? any reply would be highly appreciated.

Vista employs bootmgr ...not boot.ini
You need BCDEDIT.exe to edit the boot options...

^ but there must be some ways u can do it without installing third party application. anyone knows how?

^^ You'll need to give "bcdedit" command in Command Prompt to edit the boot loader entries. Just type bcdedit /? to get the full list of available options.
