Re: Ctrl + Alt + Del not working
Generally this is effect of virus. Scan your PC in safe mode with well updated antivirus. And see the if there is any effect..
Another way is:
1) Run Scan with "Hijack This"
2) Look for anything close to this O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{78B44176-C987-40AA-B09
3) It shoud be the same all the way to this^ point (the numbers may be diffrent
4) Check Mark it
5) Click on Fix Checked
6) Close the application & restart your PC
see if this trick helps you.
Last Option:
Repairing Windows is the last & best option to get rid of this problem.

Not exactly.. i don bother for this thing, but now dunno why the speed is soooo slow..
I've 40GB HDD, with 512MB Ram, system managed Virtual RAM, 2Ghz Intel Celeron.
Original Xp, sp2
And the speed sucks. Is this coz my PC is very outdated?

Re: Ctrl + Alt + Del not working
Hey people, how would you bring this effect (hiding menu bar and double clicking to get it back) on a computer that works perfectly?
A reverse question, I know, but this seems verrrryyyyy interesting

Sorry i didn't understood your point...
Double click on any area(except the white area) to toggle between menu bar hiding and unhiding...and i didn't understood what u meant by "Computer that works properly"...This can be done on any system...
