.MKV file in DVD Player

Dear all,

I have downloaded some movies in mkv file format. when i play in my pc or laptop it playes good with vlc.. Now i want to play those file with same clarity in my DVD player on TV. so in what format i have to convertit plz suggest me and also necessary software and process also. may be in avi also as my player support DivX formats too.

You better convert the movie using ConvertX to DVD software or you can use mkv to AVI converter so that you can convert the movie from mkv to AVI.

You can use AVI2DVD to convert MKV Files...also I have not tryed them but i guess there wont be any significant loss of Quality ...
