system registery corrupt ! Plz help

hi frends pls help me. I had installed internet download manager and registered it with a patch. Hower it didnt register and i got a message that the registry key is fake. Since then i have been getting error whenever i reboot my pc "INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER DETECTED THAT ITS REGISTRY KEYS HAD BEEN DAMAGED SINCE LAST RUN. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT YOU RUN A FLAKY SPYWARE REMOVER PROGRAM WHICH CORRUPTED SYSTEM REGISTRY. INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER WILL TRY TO RESTORE ALL DAMAGED DATA, BUT SOME DATA MAY REMAIN CORRUPTED"
and i get this message whenever i open iexplorer. Also my internet has stopped working.
also to mention i have scanned my pc with an anti spy and kaspersky, but nothing happened. And i uninstalled idm but it still shows in my startup menu.
Plz help frendz..

undo the task by doing a SYSTEM RESTORE ......

& try using freeware mnagers .....

use registry mechanic from pctools.com.

Uninstall the prog and reinstall again. Take it off the startup menu if you like either from IDM settings or from MSConfig.

That error is not because you have a spyware or anything. Its because you tried to crack it.

Delete the IDM registry first.
Go to the registry

HKCU - in the software section locate IDM and delete all the registry there.

The same also for HKLM - in the software section (if its not there ok)
