Disk Managment not working!

My Disk Managment is not working .. whenever i try opening it, i get the following error message :

The SPC Server is not available.


... any suggestions ?

there are some security issues dude, as you have already posted thread regarding "windows installer". I recommend to repair your OS after full scan with well updated antivirus.

well, there may be some system files missing.
1st get your xp CD inserted in your optical drive and then
go to start -> Run
Type "SFC /SCANNOW" and press enter. wait until it finishes scanning & then restart your computer.
