i am not able to see hidden files in my system
my os is windows xp with sp II.
is there any way to solve the problem
through windows registry

pse help me

Open My Computer go to Tools > Folder Options
Then click on the VIEW tab and click on Show Hidden Files and Folders.

^^And also uncheck the "Hide protected OS files" located just below the Show hidden files option...

May be he has tried that ....... Here is a registry fix if you are not able to set "Show hidden files and folder" in folder option .....
