Default Anti-Virus

I've had enough head-aches with the anti virus packages that i've been using till date. Used to get them from the net !

Suggest me a good Anti Virus to purchase.

Saw a vendor selling Kaspersky 7 (for 3 users) selling it at Rs. 1000/-

Is it justified ? Hows Kaspersky or do i have to go for any other s/w, kindly suggest.

If you want to get Kaspersky, then get Kaspersky Internet Security = a complete security suite......

Otherwise, use NOD32 + Comodo Firewall Pro (free) + SpyBot (free) like me.....

KIS 7 or NOD32 AV with Comodo Firewall.

Please avoid McAfee and Norton, don't waste your time and money on them.

McAfee is out of question, I've used it already.

I'm gonna use the Ashampoo Anti Virus that has been given for free in the current month's Digit magazine. I have to work on this, my system has no antivirus at the moment, just formatted it because of Virus issues.

Any experiences using Ashampoo Anti Virus anyone ?
