DVD player suggestion needed

hey fellas. im in need of a dvd player to be used with the tv. i was wanting to know what descent brands support formats like avi apart from the normally supported types. thanks in advance guys

hey why don't you people refer digit's shootout this month? in case you didn't get this months digit, Onida's candy is the winner. personally I would suggest you go for LG. You can get usb connectivity for around 3400. I've been using one and the compatibility is jus great, supports avi, wma & jpg apart from the standard formats, codecs supported are divX, XviD, Mp4 etc. connectivity is also good.
