how to disable vista auto sorting files

When I copy a bunch of photos (or any kind of file) to a folder in Vista, or unzip a folder the unzipped folder gets lost due to vista "auto" sorts the files immediately.

very irritating

I am getting mad over this.

In XP, it used to just leave the newest files at the end of the list until I hit F5 or refresh to resort the folder.

Same is happening to the desktop ikon's, on every boot they get sorted own their own.

How can I shut off this automatic re-sort feature?
