Default Booting Problem

Hey guys!
how can i boot my computer using the digit DVDs as i am not able to do that.i want to fedora on my pc but due to boot failure i am not able to do it.

You can run bootable disks by changing the primary boot device to that particular device (In ur case CD/DVD drive). You can do so by going to the BIOS settings by pressing DEL key (most u'll have 2 keep on tapping it continuously when u just turn the computer on). There on searching, you can find the boot sequence. Here you can change it.....

does digit provide bootable OS cds/dvds ??
i doubt whether it is an image of the OS cd inside the DVD

Yes. Most magazines provide bootable linux distro DVDs

guys! i am not able to boot from the digit DVDs. i have tried every method but still i am not getting success. is there some other method plz tell as i need to learn linux for my degree.

you can download an image of fedora
or if u want a light weight one download Damn Small Linux(DSL) or puppy linux

but fedora is a 3.2 gb download which will take ages to download on my 128kbps connection.
can i break the fedora setup given in digit dvd into cds.
if yes plz do tell me.

u want to work on linux or u want to work on "fedora"



PS:I kno fedora is also a flavour of linux ...

You can try downloading livecd image from http://fedoraproject.org/en/get-fedora .With them you get option of installing the distro as well
