Unhappy TCP attacks !!

Hi !
I have avast antivirus 4.8 home edition installed on my system. For the past two days I have been getting some messages from it (antivirus) that a DCOM exploit attack has been blocked which was named as "some IP address/tcp". I could not frame the coplete message since this msg comes only for once a while I'm using the net.
I had also detected some trojan horses in the system restore data during boot time scan and had deleted them but the problem has persisted.

What is this thing ?

Also please tell me how can I check my correct IP address ?

Please help me since I this computer is primarily being used by my father.

Hi,

I don't really know if this would solve the problem.

Try using CommView a program for monitoring Internet and LAN activity capable of capturing and analyzing network packets. You'll also come to know your correct IP address.

Hope it helps.
