Default Vista


Guys i wanted to buy a new laptop can u suggest me any good ones with good speed..... 2 of them in my list are 1) HP dv2701TX 2)HP dv6767TX
the problem i have is about software support in vista
do the softwares like Adobe photoshop CS2 and macromedia flash , dreamweaver work in vista & other adobe softwares

I had run adobe photoshop 7 on vista sometime before. so it shouldnt cause any problem if you try to install any of the cs2 applications.

one more thing someone told me that u cannot install XP in preinstalled vista in HP laptops is it true

Angad singh,

Yes, the person who have told you about HP is correct. On some modles of HP dv 9500 which are pre-loaded with Vista you can't intall XP because XP does not support SATA2 HDD.

Best is to ask the dealer if they have the option of loading XP removing Vista because we all know vista is pathetic as per today.
