Is the dataone Usage finder software is genuine?

Hi Friends,
Yesterday I downloaded a software called Dataone usage finder from http://duf.sourceforge.net/. Friends I want to know that the credibility and genuiness of this Software.

There is no doubt that this software is brilliantly coded and every thing it shows about dataone usage looks clean and neatly designed.

But my question is that does it really connects to dataone portal and gives such details or it sends our username and password details to third party for hacking?

I am really concerned about this. If any one of you use this software prior and never find any problems plz add reply to my post or mail me to manishsinghon@gmail.com

lthough...i have heard that BSNL does not allow one user account to use BB from others telephones ...

Fist of all you should not give out your email id in a public forum like this. Secondly I have used this software, I have no casue for complaints.

don't know about his s/w, but I'm using datafox from last few months and found it very useful and trustworthy.

It is hosted on SourceForge. The source code of the same is also there for download. In case you are not sure, you can always download source code to check and create executables yourself.

I have used this software and it looks fine to me.

I think its genuine....You can always check to what sites is that software connecting/downloading/uploading data using Wireshark or some firewall. And AFAIK know it just connects to the BSNL portal.

i am using DQUF and its fine. but even if the s/w sends ur pass/username...u have no cause to wrry since dataone has port bingding..i.e. u can use ur pass only from ur phone line....
