Cool problem with folder option


hi guys i am using windows xp sp 2 and when i am clicking on any folder or drive it's opening in new window i want it to open in same window so what do i do

still taht problem not solved and other error msg pops up when i double click on any folder or drive.


the error msg says
can not copy Auto :It is being used by another person or program.
close any programs that might be using the file and try again.

In folder option, Uncheck HIDE PROTECTED OPERATING SYSTEM FILES and delete autorun.ini or autorun.inf in the root of every partition

Open Command prompt go to the root of your drive and execute these commands

attrib -s-h-r autorun.inf
del autorun.inf

go to folder.options>general tab
there select open new folder in same windows..

ur done

go2 folder options->general->browse folders
and tick the 1st option i.e., "Open each Folder in the same window" .....

use gpedit to disable your autoplay option.Then everything will work.
[Goto run and type gpedit.msc]
