Add/Remove Programs

Hi,

I installed & remove certain programs from add/remove programs
they r removed from the program files but there name is still there in
add/remove list....how do I remove them from here

In the Add/Remove programs window, select 'Change/Remove' option of that particular software and see if windows gives u the option "Program is uninstalled, remove the entry from this list"

yaa..there is some registry tweak to remove the name from list of "Add or Remove Programs". Are you sure you have completely uninstalled the program??

your uninstaller 2008 is also a gud option..!

In the registry locate -
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall

There you get all the keys. Check the display name in each keys manually or export and search. Then delete the key which is annoying you.

it has a separate section for seeing programs listed in Add/Remove List and an option to remove it also..
