Help me configure proxy settings in Safari

I use Safari 3.0.2(the one which was provided with Digit August 07 DVD).

I connect to internet through a proxy. I cant connect to internet directly, i have to use the proxy server(my connection provider does not allow connecting to internet directly)

I went to the Preferences menu in Safari and then to Advanced sub-menu but there the proxy settings menu was disabled.
Can u tell me how can i enable it or use proxy settings with Safari?

dont u have admin rights on the comp u tryin to enable proxy?

if not then get ur admin to either enable it 4 u or get him to give u more rights

It's not about administrator privelege.

I serched in Google and found out that Apple did not provide the option of configuring proxy server in the beta versions of Safari(I have installed a beta version)

Safari for Windows is stable now, BTW, and the Mac version, at least, allows you to configure proxies and stuff.
