Vista ultimate not updating from windows update

I have tried man a times to update hot fixes etc from windows update ,but they always seems to download ,then my PC goes through hell lot of start up etc ,but then update history says it failed .



If i cancel the error code 8024000b is encountered ,but after a full update download and installation it shows failed with error code 800F0826 .

I have reinstall the operating system 2 times (I do it by a ghost image ) and yes it shows that it is genuine . Then what is the problem . Is there any third part sites which can provide me with individual updates .

Microsoft cant believe u r using a genuine vista..............hehehhe.

A ghost image if havea probem then u r repeating the same problem over & over again, if u have the disk try doing a fresh installation & then try updating the fresh install.

he he he .I made a a vlite dvd with sp1 and then made afresh installation and lo vista as well as updates all are working and my pc has been updated to service pack 1 too.
