System freezes during browsing

hi guys,

My system freezes unexpectedly during browsing..Connected via broadbad to
a 2GB Ram PC running XP SP2 OS and using Opera browser.. any idea why it happens...?

Secondly can anyone tell me the best free tools available for internet security against any kind of intrusion..

Next time, whenever you start browsing, run the task manager and minimize it(don't close it). If ur PC freezes, after it unfreezes, immediately go to task manager and see what was the CPU and RAM usage during the freeze. Since it happens only during browsing, it may be some issue with javascript on a website.

If you are using any addons then try to disable those addons and look if it works properly. Disable also the Toolbars you are using.

do you have firewall or antivirus installed,if yes ..then i feel,your traffic is routed through them , so ...........
