blocking youtube and another video sites in caffe

i want to block youtube and another video sites in my caffe .

is there any software to do this or i need to block its port , if i block the port how can i do it .

actually, they don't run on any specific port....
They are on HTTP port 80.
So, no use of port blocking !!

Just place these websites on block list of ur firewall or searcg for any site blocker!

You can always use OpenDNS for doing what you want. Probably the easiest and fastest way for things to work.

youtube requires installation of flash to view the vdo

just dont install flash and dont give d user install previlages


so no flash = no youtube

I think u can do that from the router itself. Check of out ur router manual. And if u have a linux gateway there, then it becomes a piece of cake!!

Simple. Use the hosts file.

But that affects only that host, not the packets passing via the gateway. Thats the case on Linux. I dunno if windows acts any different!!
