Cant download anything.....

I have not been able to propery download anything for the past 1 month..
they finish downloading by arorx 50-25% or 90%+ of the file has been downloaded..
i have tried useing IE,opera and firefox...
also tried flashget......
i hav cleared my cache an increased its size....
what do i do???

dont its a virus.....nod32 an mcafee shows comp clean..will try free download manager..

^^Make sure you have latest definitions. Also install and scan using Spybot Search and Destroy and Lavasoft Ad-Aware to detect if any spy/malware is there

Boot in safe mode with networking..and than try to download once.

well i was having the same problem for the last 4 months..tried every download managers ...every antivirus,antispyware...all in vain...also could not install most of the things from the magazine CDs DVDs....but finally the problem was solved 4 days back....Got a New PC..

fresh install??i repartitioned my drive 2 times formatted n number of times...did whatever i could..

cant do it...
got a srestore partiton an my old hdds case is busted..so until then cant do any reformating..sign...
im sure its not a virus.... iv checked kuite thoroughly...

oh btw cant download torrents either..tried all major clients...
its comming "NAT port mapping: wating for query IP address"

Check your firewall settings and better use utorrent instead of bitcomet

ya check ur firewall .... it must have given access 2 net bt no downloads ....

else try using ccleaner or any registery software 2 scan .....

or reinstall browsers \ try new 1, 2 c if it does allow u 2 download .....

up uninstsllrd my firewalll,changed my antivius 2 avast.....
now bit coment showing.." NAT port mapping: Failed [UPNP device not found!]"

well thanks guys alls workin..after much checking ant 2 antivruses later found out comp was infectefd with win32 trojan...
thanks again to all who replied to my problem.....
