NFS Most Wanted install prob

My system refuses to install NFS-MW citing that i have no latest dx 9c installed! but this is false...i do have it installed.

is there a way to work around it? if u can please suggest me how to uninstall and reinstall directx9 if possible.

reinstall dx9.0c

you need to do the following:

1. After you mount the game image, copy all the files to you hard drive in one folder for example NFSMW.

2. Open the \NFSMW\Autorun folder..and then open the file autorun.cfg with Notepad.

3. Look for the parameter DirectXVersion=9.0c and change the 9.0c to 0 and save the file.

4. Run the Setup from your hard drive folder and ENJOY!!
