Problem after virus updates

Hi I updated the 7.5 version of AVG free few minutes back. But
now is shows trouble with scanning. The Test RESULT shows "Cannot
open; not checked!" and the STATUS therby is "Not Scanned".
How can I correct this issue? Tell me guys..

Dont use AVG Free Edition it is low on features as compared 2 pro

Buy Kaspersky or Bitdefender 2008 (it has 3 versions)

or if u dont have money 2 spend download & install
Bitdefender 10 Free Edition & update it ...I m sure u will never face any virus
issues.....

if you can download avg 8 pro somehow very good do it. this can be done through P2P torrents or any other similar ways
