Default Norton AntiVirus Update Error


While downloading updates for NAV Prof 2004 , I get the following errors:-

1) While downloading update for Common Client Core, the following error comes:-

The update was not completed successfully. Press the DETAILS button for more inf:-

When I press the DETAILS button, the following is written:-

Windows XP 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1

Common Client Core 2.0.0


2) While downloading update for NAV Professional, the following error comes:-

The update was not completed successfully. Press the DETAILS button for more inf:-

When I press the DETAILS button, the following is written:-

Windows XP 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1

NAVNT 10.00

Please help me in solving these problems.

i think it wud be better if u go to the symantec site and type this error code in their search from database. i was having some probs in nav 04 and i did the same and got satisfactory answers and solutions.

btw nav 04 sucks big time !!! nav 03 was much better.

Try loading windows XP Service Pack 2....... & then reinstall NAV..........

Have u Aug. DVD of DIGIT then in that SP2 is there..!!

I have the issue. I have the DVD also.

But I don't have a DVD Drive to play the DVD.

Then wait for Sep. issue. Th service-pack provided in Aug. DVD was a release candidate. Th final build will, hopefully, be given on Sep. CD.
