Thumbs down window media player problem.


i m using windows media player 9 version, but i cannot use its video setting like hue, brightness, contrast because it not moves from its place its sticked i also formated my pc but it doesnot work at all, now what to do frnds please help me.

microsoft windows XP proffesional version 2002
service pack 2, intel(r) pentium(r) 4 cpu 2.66GHz
248 MB of RAM

using- AVAST antivirus professional updated regurarly

I think you have used a pirated CD to install XP.

Unistall and reinstall may solve your problem.

I have the exact same config, but my avast is the free home edition.


I don't face the same problem as you do.

I also have the same config..using avast free edition...but today is the last day i will be using it...i m going to have a new pc tomoro :roll:

What video card are you guys using? I think that most newer gfx cards override the wmp colour panel and use its own(not too sure on that though).
