win32: host generic error

i am getting this error in my PC from some days.......and the problem is as soon as i get this error my sound driver is lost. i.e i cannot play any sound.

there is no specific time of this error to occur....i have already applied Hotfix given by MS in this relation.

this is what i get when i try to play any sound.
