Default hauppauge tv tuner plz help??

i have got a hp hauppage tv tuner, but when i scan for channels it gives the result of dd1 only, it doesnt scan any cable channels.... am i doing anything wrong, pls help me frendzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Is it the Hauppage USB TV Tuner that you got free with Compaq/Hp laptop?

Then iam sorry to tell you that this TV Tuner is piece of crap
Even i have got the same tuner and i was able to tune most of the channels but the quality just sucks..and i mean it is completely unacceptable...
So no use of trying it.
If you want more info an this piece of crap,then search in this forum there is a thread regarding this.

grrrrrr bl**dy ba*Ta*ds they've looted me of rs600.00 for handling charges... i will make sure to sue them...thanks my friend for the information....

The only thing you can do with it is connect it to your comp and use its REMOTE for media center!!

i have the hauppauge winTV pvr pci 2 card came with HP pavilion media center PC. it is not the USB version card.it scans everything all right.and better still the pictures are better on the monitor than it is on TV.i can't figure how the USB version product could be so bad.i have been using the product for 2 years and i give it a 5/5 rating.

Unhappy hauppauge tv tuner plz help??

hi frndz i bought one hauppage wintv pvr 150 in banglore, i tries many tv viewer applications like tv dvr, chris tv, beyond tv but i am not getting the display and no sound also. I am using vista 64 bit, drivers are properly installed, i dont no whats the problem please help
