Antivirus Update Doubt

Hi................Everyone

I have a Question regarding the antivirus updates??????I want to whether if u install any antivirus ...is internet connection is necessary to install the updates..... i mean is there any way to install the update files....if there is no internet connection .If there is a way plzzz can anyone guide me...it will be very helpful and plzz tell which antivirus i should use as one of my friend is not having internet connection.

Easy.
Just download the latest version of the Antivirus.

Suppose u have AVG 7.5.2 so the update will 7.5.3 or something.

Just download that rather than clicking Check for Updates and install it.

I will ask u that do u want to udate ur AVG program already installed [without internet].

Click yes and it will copy the new files...

Yes, you can get the updates separately. But you will have to download the updates or get it from some magazines, that come along with latest softwares/updates/free Os'es.

I have not used Antivirus software till now. But, from the discussions, I find AVG (free) & Kaspersky very reliable.

For what you are talking about definition update of anitivirus version update. U have to download the latest definition update from antivirus site but some donot offer this facility. U can use quickheal, avast or norton. All u have to do is to go to their site and download the update then install that update in your computer.

what shall i do if there is no internet connection if i install any antivirus ????How can i update it....just i need to copy updated files and installed them

If u donot have internet connection then get the updates from DVDs of Digit etc etc .They usually contains update of Antivirus or get it from ur friends or somewhere and install it; it will automatically update...!!!
