help me frds urgently...

hello frds...now a days i have trouble a new kind of system problem....i donn't know wt happen...my all hidden files cann't recover...hidden attribute gone...harddisk cann't shown the hidden files...and second problem is when i open harddisk partition it cann't open in same window it can open another window....i have done two format on window...pl frd help me ...tell me wts a problem and how can i solve this problem...

Some virus.. apart of formatting.. give full system scan to other data left other partition too.. !!

Simple virus problem...

Download HijackThis and scan your computer with it.. Post the logfile here. Don't try to fix it yourself, if you don't know much...

These commands might help, but this is not a permanent solution.
Open up the command prompt and type in:

attrib -h -s -r -a c:\autorun.inf
del c:\autorun.inf

Repeat the same for all your HDDs. Then immediately reboot, without opening any of the drives.

This shud solve your problem temporarily, if no worm is running.

Anyways, you will have to provide the HijackThis log to help us remove the worm completely.
