please help me
there r no icons on desktop for my computer , network places and recycle bin.

even after installaling a trasformation pack , i cant see any icons .

blank white icon appears , the kind tht u will find for unknown file extensions

Rachit, There could be number of solutions based on the nature of issue. Please post HJT log here. By the same time I suggest you to start your system in safe mode and then again restart your system in Normal mode, this will make Windows to rebuild it's icon cache which may solve your problem.

deleting hiden file IconCache.db at
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\
will solve your problem.

Actually Starting in SafeMode and then in normal mode does the same thing which I suggested earlier
