Thumbs down i am not able to open my windows media player

hi guys since last five days i am not able to open my windows media player when i click on icon there is eror message pops up please help me
see the picture of error msg.

I think you installed WMP 11 using some un-official setup available on net or may be while installing it something went wrong because this error indicates that the some WMP file versions are different from the main EXE file.

Try to download the official WMP 11 setup from Microsoft.com and then install it.

Reinstalling WMP can solve the issue.

yeah i have legal copy windows xp sp2 proff. with updates till18 feb. 2008
